Adults reading English as a non-native language — anyone who picks up English news, essays, papers, or books and wants the words they don't know to stick. Not for English natives. Not a flashcard or grammar app.
What language is the reading in?
Always English. Every article in the Library is in English; pasted text is read as English too. The translation chip above each saved word is in your native language — pick from 15+ supported, including Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Spanish, and more.
Is Vocabay free?

Billing & refunds
How do I cancel a subscription?
Account → Manage subscription. No email required.
Can I get a refund?

Data & privacy
Where is my data stored?
Account + saved data on Supabase (US, encrypted at rest). AI inference happens in the US. See our Privacy Policy for the full list.
Can I delete my account?
Account → Delete account, type your email to confirm. Permanent.
Do you use my data to train AI?
No. Our AI provider doesn't train on your data. We send only the tapped word and its surrounding sentence. Nothing else.
