Cancellation & Refunds

Cancelling your subscription

You may cancel your Vocabay Plus subscription at any time:

1. Open the app and sign in.
2. Click your avatar (bottom-left) and choose Account.
3. Click Manage subscription to open the billing portal.
4. Choose Cancel subscription.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not pro-rate.

14-day right to cancel

You have 14 days to cancel for a full refund, provided you haven't started using paid features.

By purchasing Plus you confirm that you wish to begin using paid features immediately and acknowledge that you waive your 14-day statutory cancellation right once you start using them.

Plus starts with a 5-day free trial on both plans; cancel during the trial and you won't be charged. The 14-day refund window applies from your first charge.

Refunds

Outside the 14-day window, we don't offer routine refunds for partial months. Email hello@vocabay.com with the reason; we reply within 2 business days.

Full refunds when:

• You were charged in error.
• The Service was unavailable for more than 48 hours during your billing period.
• You contacted us within 14 days and didn't use paid features.

Refunds are processed in conjunction with subscription cancellation. To stop being billed and end your Plus access, cancel your subscription through the billing portal (see steps above). Standalone refunds of an active subscription may be issued at our discretion but do not automatically terminate Plus access for the current billing period.

Failed payments

If a renewal fails, we retry over 7 days. After that, the subscription downgrades to Free; your saved data is unaffected.

Chargebacks

Contact us before raising a chargeback. Repeated chargebacks without contact may result in account termination.

Account closure

Cancellation stops billing; it does not delete your account. To delete: Account → Delete account. Irreversible.
